David and Mia – 

 

for eight years, this duo has stood for originality, a spirit of discovery and development, collaboration and joie de vivre. With just two instruments and two voices, David e Mia create new worlds and touch and fascinate people of all ages and social classes, across borders, without compromising the musical professionalism and virtuosity they have acquired through years of training at Vienna's music universities.

With their programme ‘OPIA’, they show their audience how music from multiple genres can be enjoyed without barriers, using arrangements they have created themselves.

In their latest programme, ‘COU:RAGE - The Art of Motion’, which was also staged as a performance by the up-and-coming director Benedikt Arnold, they break with existing conventions of classical music, expand boundaries, including musically, and invite their audience to immersive concert experiences that will be remembered for a long time to come. 

 

After receiving several international awards and prizes (first prizes at chamber music competitions in Gorizia and Florence, Live Music Now scholarship, OORKAAN Academy scholarship), their first album was released in 2024, presenting the innovative cross-genre programme ‘OPIA’.

With over 100 concerts in 10 countries, including Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Austria and Israel, David e Mia have established themselves as a versatile and sought-after duo. Their performances regularly take them to renowned venues such as the Vienna Konzerthaus and the Musikverein Wien.
